Review : Free ShareX for screenshot and upload.

A screen capture tool is certainly a great help for blogger.But if a screen capturing tool which is an open source and has many really good additional features also then..?Yes its completely free and available on Google code. :)Since we have so many screen capturing tool and even a default one in windows called the snipping tool then what made me to write this post ? all these questions are obvious but after reading this post i am sure you will download and try  this free ShareX for screenshot.

How to install Macintosh in virtualbox.

Macintosh is one of the most popular and hyped OS of this age.I have choosen this topic
keeping in mind that many people still dream to have an apple PC but not able to acquire it.
Today i have come up with a solution to fulfill there dreams but in a virtual way.

In this tutorial we will go through how to setup Macintosh in windows using Oracle’s Virtual box.

Requirement:

1. A PC with atleast 4gb RAM.

2. Oracle’s Virtualbox.

3. Snow Leopard OS .iso file.

Lets start.

1. Start Virtualbox and as shown in the image below click on “New” to add a guest OS then click next.

2. Here in this screen as you can see i have given the desired name for my guest OS,do the same as shown below and select the corresponding operating system and
version.

3. If you have more than 4Gb of RAM then you can select 2 gb of memory atleast but since i have a 4gb Ram i would go for 1800MB,click next.

4. Select the option as shown below,create a new hard disk of atleast 20 GB of space,click next.

5. Select storage type as “Dynamic” as shown below and click next until the disk size window come up.Here select the desired size more than 20 GB.

6. Click finish and you can see the quest OS will come to the left panel of the virtual box.Select that click on settings.

7. In the settings,select the storage option on the LHS and go to the empty disk symbol under “IDE Controller” and browse to find the snow leopard .iso file and click ok. Follow as shown in the image below.

8. Similarly under “system” option uncheck the option as shown in the image below.

9. Under display make the Video memory as 128Mb.

10. On the virtual box manger click select the guest OS you created and click on start on the top.It will ask for “Press any key” please do that.

11. Now select the desired language of your choice and click on the forward arrow as shown in the image below.

12. Click on “Utilities” from the top menu and select “Disk Utility”.

13. Under disk utility select the harddisk on the LHS and give the desired name then click on the erase button and once partisan is done quit the disk utility wizard as
shown in the image below.

14. Now you can see the partition under the destination.Select it and click on continue.

15. In the next window click on customize option.

If you are on intel select the kernel as mentioned below.

a) Intel_atom_10.2.0

b) Legacy_kernel_10.2.0(Not for i7 and C2D processors)

c) Mobdin_kernel_10.0(Non-intel Processor)

Select the correct option then select done and click install.It will take few minutes to get installed so be patient.

16. When the welcome screen comes up select the appropriate option and create an account as in Windows.

If do do not want to send information to apple about your installation then you can skip the steps in between (like registration,providing apple id etc )and directly go to creating an account as shown in the above image.
