How to : Download torrents on iPad without any Apps.

In this tutorial we will see how to download torrents on iPad without using any apps.Downloading torrent is a restriction on iPad without jailbreak but using utorrent and torrent link or magnetic hashes makes this task simple.All this is possible because of remote utorrent configuration option,which detect the client from ipad on entering the computer name.

Note : A computer with utorrent installed and active is needed for this tutorial.

How to download torrents on iPad ?

    • Run the utorrent on computer which acts as client,create an account with computer name as password under preferences > remote as shown in the image below.

    • Now in the iPad open any browser to access a link http://remote.utorrent.com and follow the onscreen instructions as shown in the image below.

    • Input the computer name and password as done in the step 1 while keeping the utorrent client active on the computer.

    • Browse to any web page serving torrent links or magnetic hashes like i have chosen yify.torrent.com here.Copy the url.

  • Tap the “+” sign to the bottom left corner to insert the url.

  • Now the download will begin as shown below and can be monitored from iPad and the computer at the same time.

  • Tap the options bottom to the top right corner to change the bandwidth and download/upload limit etc as shown in the image below.

Now download torrents on iPad without any apps installed with ease and without jailbreak.Here one can change the download directory, bandwidth,download/upload limit schedule a download etc.Enjoy 🙂

    Hey there I managed to link my iPad and computer on untorrent but when I try and paste url on my iPad it says that the URL is not valid. Any suggestions

    How do you make the downloads go to the iPad?
    I got everything to work
    When I click on the download and go to that play looking icon instead of the info Icon
    It says there’s no audio or video file there

    I followed every step but when I copied the URL but nothing happened. When I started downloading from my PC it showed on the iPad too, anyone can help

    By this step..I guess i will download using my computer then i will use itools to copy it to my ipad..download vlc player on ipad can play more format..by the way..i current using filemaster to download torrent..the problem is need to keep the screen awake or it will pause..
